Water

The
  water
     flows
         down
            the
              river
             laden
           with
  overhanging
trees
   and
     shrubs,
         drawing
              shadows
                   upon
                      the
                       water,
                          causing
                              a coolness
                               within the
                                    breeze.
                                        soon
                                          the
                                      stillness
                                            of the
                                              flowing
                                                 water is
                                                 replaced
                                                     with
                                                      the
                                                   fierce
                                                     roar
                                                   of the
                                                waterfall
                                                 crashing
                                                 upon the
                                                    rocks
                                                    below
                                                  leaving
                                                   behind
                                                      the
                                                  solitude
                                                       of the
                                                  soothing
                                                         water
                                                    of before
This is another attempt by me to experiment with a new form of poetry.  The poem is a concrete poem.  Concrete poetry is poetry in which the typographical arrangement of words is as important in conveying the intended effect as the conventional elements of the poem, such as meaning of words, rhythm, rhyme and so on.  It is sometimes referred to as visual poetry
