Draping Drifts Of Snow

Snow
smothers
everywhere,
covering all.

Draping drifts
swell like
waves.

The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture.  The pattern of the Septolet is:
Line 1: 1 syllable
Line 2: 2 syllables
Line 3: 3 syllables
Line 4: 4 syllables
Line 5: 3 syllables
Line 6: 2 syllables
Line 7: 1 syllable
It’s origin is Greek and the word means a ” carrying up or back.”
